Backbone Cycle Path along the Ohře River

The route of the backbone cycle path is 110 km long and it leads through the picturesque valley of the Ohře River from the German border all the way to the borders of the Region of Ústí nad Labem. On the Czech side, it is known as the Ohře Cycle Path and it connects to the Wallenstein Cycle Path in neighbouring Bavaria (German: Wallenstein-Radweg, route: Eger-Wondreb-Kösseine). After crossing the Czech border, the cycle route is marked as No. 6 (international cycle route marking).
The Ohře Cycle Path leads through four districts in the Region of Karlovy Vary
- Cheb district 24 km: Slapany (D) - Cheb - Mostov
- Sokolov district 28 km: Mostov - Sokolov - Loket
- Karlovy Vary district 27 km: Loket - Karlovy Vary - Radošov
- Ostrov district 19 km: Radošov - Stráž - Lužný u Perštejna
