Castle Colonnade in Karlovy Vary

Category: Spa Architecture Region: Karlovy Vary and its surroundings Town: Karlovy Vary

The Castle Colonnade (Zámecká kolonáda), designed by Friedrich Ohmann, was built above the Market Colonnade between 1911 and 1913. It is divided into two parts - the Upper and Lower Spring Colonnades. The Upper Spring Colonnade (Kolonáda Horního pramene) is open to the public and houses the Upper Castle Spring (Horní zámecký pramen). The Lower Spring Colonnade (Dolní zámecký pramen) is only accessible to clientele of The Castle Spa (Zámecké lázně). So as to make the Lower Castle Spring available to the public, it is brought to the Market Colonnade.

  • Upper Castle Spring (Horní zámecký pramen)
  • Lower Castle Spring (Dolní zámecký pramen)
