Jewish Cemetery in Drmoul
Category: Jewish Sites and Cemeteries Region: Sokolov and its surroundings Town: Drmoul
The remnants of the Jewish cemetery founded in the 17th century may be found approximately 1.5 kilometres west of the village of Drmoul on Panský Hill. Originally, the grounds were enclosed by a stone wall and later by wooden fence. Today, there is no fence at all. Almost 360 granite, mostly Baroque and Classicist, tombstones dating to the period from 1673 to 1936 have been preserved.
