Karlovy Vary Museum

Category: Museums Region: Karlovy Vary and its surroundings Town: Karlovy Vary

The Karlovy Vary Museum was established after 1865 as an integrated facility along with the municipal library and the archives. Rich collections and documentation of items relating to the typical Karlovy Vary crafts were created with the help of the Karlovy Vary collectors. In 1937, the Museum acquired a part of the collections of Dr. Becher and a collection of targets and trophies of the shooters’ association. The permanent exhibition of the Karlovy Vary Museum offers an overview of history and nature of the region, with emphasis on the spa town’s specifics.

The exhibition has a wheelchair access.
