Region: Sokolov and its surroundings

The town of Kraslice is situated at the foot of Krušné hory (Ore Mountains) near the German town of Klingenthal. The town was founded in the 13th century. Like other villages and towns in the Ore Mountains, Kraslice experienced a boom of silver and tin mining in the 14th century. Later, the town became famous for its musical instruments and laces. Historical landmarks include the Neo Romanesque Corpus Christi Basilica built in the late 19th century.

You may also find a ski area with one downhill course in the town. Popular tourist and cycle paths lead through the town.
