Pernink

Region: Krušné hory – Ore Mountains

As most other neighbouring towns and villages, the foundation of the municipality of Pernink is closely connected with the boom of iron ore mining in the 16th century. You may find several interesting historical monuments in the village, such as the Kontribučenská granary, half-timbered house No. 7, or the Church of the Holiest Trinity. The village also boasts its railway viaduct, which is situated at the highest elevation in the Czech Republic.

Sports enthusiasts will definitely enjoy themselves in 3 sports areas, on local cycle paths or at the nearby adrenalin centre on Plešivec.
